Did I mention that I married my best friend??? Jason and I will be married for 7 years this July. We will be celebrating 7 years of marriage and 15 years of friendship this year. I met Jason when I was 14 and we became the best of friends. We started dating in college:) We both say we would have started dating before then but we knew that when we started dating it would be forever and well we just weren’t ready for forever yet. HA! Jason has been a great husband and an incredible father. He coached Emma’s soccer team this year and she LOVED it. I must admit that I was pretty proud myself. I mean the man works VERY hard to support us and then to spend the extra time he has to 3-4 year olds is just the sweetest thing:) Okay I’m done braggin:) Anyway, this was Emma’s first season in soccer and she will be playing again. She kicked one goal this season and we are so proud of that one goal!!!!:) What a sport! For the past couple months our Saturday mornings were consumed with the soccer and we loved every minute of it. Can’t wait till next season!!!!

Emma's trademark became that bow in her hair.:) I mean come on, how tacky are those outfits. We needed to spice it up a bit;)

The team and coach;)

Such a silly girl full of life.:)

The MVP award!!! YAY!
We had a wonderful holiday season together. Every year my family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas day we go to my in laws. By the end of the two days we are completely zoncked (is that a word and if so better check that spelling):) Emma got everything she wanted:) It was our last Christmas with just the three of us so this one was a little more special then in the past. It was definitely a reality check for Jason and myself. I think the pregnancy became real as we realized that next year we will be a family of 4. It is so hard to imagine another child without picture Emma Bean. But we are thrilled to say the least:) Here is a pic of us at my in laws in front of their tree. Emma had such a wonderful time this year and REALLY got into the whole present opening concept…even if they weren’t her presents;) Oh and might I add that I LOVE my new Betsy Johnson watch:)

Is not here yet:) No I haven’t had her yet. However, as most of you know I have been have some problems this pregnancy. They are looking good now though! YAY! The previa is gone, my second blood work came back great, and she is looking BIG and healthy. The doctor does not expect me to go to my due date and I am thankful for that. If I do go all the way to my due date she will be here in 7 weeks. Seeing how they aren’t expecting that…um there is no telling. She was weighing 5 lbs 2 weeks ago so we have another big one on our hands. I’m not gonna pretend that doesn’t make a little nervous. Okay well a lot nervous:) lol However, I know the Lord will take care of baby and me so we will be just fine.
So needless to say with baby stuff, Emma, shoots, weddings and the normal family things going on we have been extremely busy. So I’m sorry I have slacked on the blog. Which brings me to why I’m writing today. To CATCH UP. I’m going to ignore the fact that my laundry is beyond embarrassing right now and if someone knocked on my door I would probably have to dig a hole and crawl in it. BUT, my blog will be updated:) You know it’s bad when your blog says “happy 2009!” lol!!!! HA!!!!
I also want to take this time to thank everyone of you that refer me. I get emails daily with upcoming weddings and shoots and new babies and high school seniors all coming from you guys. Again I can not tell you what that does for me. You guys are like a second family to me. Thank you guys!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone!!! Yes, I am back to work:) Vacation lasted a little longer than expected, but it was so much FUN! I just got back from Tennessee and Indiana over the weekend. The snow was SOOOO much fun! Emma had a blast to say the least. Since I have gotten back I have done Emma’s soccer photos, a baby session, and a birth. Yes, I have been busy to say the least! I will post more about my vacation with photos after posting the soccer, baby session, birth and wedding:) Glad to be back! Can’t wait to share the new year with you guys!
Well I can finally breath:) I will be taking some very much needed family time from now until Jan. 11th:) Over the last couple of years I have learned to control my calendar and not let it control me. Every now and again we have to step back and reflect on what’s super duper important in life and take the time to appreciate those people:) So that’s what I am doing. Most of you know that my mom was in the hospital this week. She had to have surgery and is doing very well. She is home now thank goodness!!! My mom only lives 2 streets over so I am able to go over and help take care of her during this time very easily. I’m so thankful for that. She is such a trooper and is hanging in there. For a woman who is use to be on the go 24/7 it’s strange for her to be sitting still. However, even though I know she will never admit it, she likes it:) Thank you all for your prayers and concerns.
I have gotten several emails about shoots starting in Jan. and they will start back up on Jan. 11th. If you have not booked for next year then please do shoot over an email and I will get back to you on Jan. 11th. The calendar for 2010 is booking quickly so shoots will be schedule on a first come first serve basis. I will be leaving to go on maternity leave, but I do not have those dates yet. I have been diagnosed with placenta previa so it just depends on that. If it fixes itself then I’m right on schedule, but if it doesn’t then I will be going on leave 2 weeks earlier. I will be going to the doctor on the 6th of Jan. and will know more then. I will be sure to keep everyone posted.
My little Emma bean is so excited about Christmas this year and I must admit I am too:) It is so much fun to hear her talk about Santa and how he comes when you are fast asleep:) We are enjoying this time with just Emma this year, because soon our lives will change, for the better of course. Another little bundle of joy will be added to the mix and Emma can share all her little secrets with her little sister.
I look forward to talking with everyone soon! Enjoy your holidays!!! XO~
So again I had way to many favorites to pick from:) Let me first say that Traci is one of those people that you meet and you can start a conversation like you’ve known her forever! She is such a sweet heart and her family follows her same path:) I enjoyed hanging with you guys! I was sorry to hear the next day that Carson wasn’t feeling well:( I’m glad he is doing better though and I looking forward to shooting you guys again soon (with my camera of course):) XO~

I did get Traci's permission before posting this one and the next one:) I know there are so many of us that can relate to this situation:) I have way to many days that are similar to this. Now this is what I call REAL. LIFE. ART.:)

I love that Jax is so patiently waiting:)

I know that I posted this one before but I just love it!

These shots always crack me up and it cracks me up even more when the moms tell me what the hubby actually said and he gets a little embarrassed;) LOL!

I just love this REAL. LIFE. ART. So urban! You guys rock!!!

They look like they are just suppose to be together:)

Kids always have fun at our shoots:) I love this one because this is just how cute they are:) So REAL:)

I love me some shoe shots!!!!

This shot makes me laugh because the parents have no clue how silly the kiddos are being:) Don't worry I did get the shot where the silly's were gone, but if you ask me...I like the sillies:)

I must admit there are times the parents must bribe:)

What a beautiful, happy family:)
