    Photography is SO much more than my job. It's my ~jump up and down on my bed~ passion. Photography allows you to see life in a moment and life in the in between (that's where the living really happens).

    I love what I do.  I love being able to play with kids, see the sweetest babies, laugh with amazing families, and be a part one of the most important days in a couples life.  This job ROCKS!

Katie & Co. ~ Ybor City Photographer

Katie and her family have become good friends of mine over the last….almost 3 years.  Katie is very crafty and talented.  Check her out here when you get a chance:)  Getting to know her and her family has been a blessing.  I LOVE shooting this family.  They never look at me like I’m completely crazy when I ask them to do silly things, including “make your best fish face”  They all just do it like that’s just the way it’s suppose to be, but they have the most fun when doing it.  I love being around them because Chad and Katie’s love for each other is so vibrant and fun that you can’t help but to smile when you are around them.  KC and Collin are some pretty rockin’ kids!  I NEVER have to ask them to do anything for the camera, they just know it and work it!  These were just a FEW of my faves from their session:)  This first one is so cool!  Who couldn’t love this?!  We even got a blow fish in there!!!  I can’t wait to shoot with you guys again soon!!!  XO

Holly’s 1st Birthday ~ Tampa Children’s Photographer

I have know this family for a couple of years now.  It has been such a pleasure getting to know them and watching their little girls grow.  It feels like yesterday I was doing Holly’s newborn photos and then I did her 1st birthday!!!  CRAZY how time flies!!!  Holly is such a sweet little girl with lots of character.  Her little smile just makes you so happy:)  Her party was my first shoot after my little Ava was born.  Seeing Holly have her 1st party made me want to run home and rock my little Ava June and cherish this time because it goes by SOOOO fast.  Thank you guys for having me there for this special time!  I really enjoyed it!  See you soon!  XO

Happy 4th!!

Hope everyone had a very happy, fun filled 4th of July!  Despite the rain, we had a great weekend:)  On Friday my wonderful hubby took me on a lunch date to Chili’s.  We took the little Ava Bird with us and Emma Bean stayed with her GiGi.  Saturday was a chill day for us.  Relaxing at home with my favorite people:)  Saturday night I was yet again spoiled by my handsome hubby.  He took me to dinner at the Cinebistro, followed by a movie.  We got to see the new movie Grown Ups.  Okay, so I’m not usually a fan of these “stupid humor” movies, but this one was pretty funny.  Sunday we had a great day of worship and then off to the Dade City fairgrounds for their Sparklebration with some great friends of ours.  We always enjoy hanging with Ashley and Co. and Katie and Co. We weren’t able to take any photos because it was raining most of the time, but there’s always next year!

I’ve got lots of shoots coming up, let’s hope this rain doesn’t stop us! Looking forward to this week and all the wonderful people I will get to be hanging with! XO

Emma’s 4th Birthday

So while I was away we celebrated Emma’s 4th birthday:)  She had a WONDERFUL tea party in her grandmother’s backyard.  She LOVED it and when I say LOVED it I mean she was practically jumping up and down on her bed DAYS BEFORE her party.  She is such a sweet, loving, caring, big hearted, free spirited, little girl that I couldn’t resist throwing her the party she wanted:)  So with the help of my mother, my mother in law and some friends…She got it!!!!  Thanks to Bridge for taking the beautiful photos!!!  Love you!  Emma Bean you are the most AMAZING 4 year old in the WORLD.  You have far exceeded what we ever wanted in a daughter.  MUAH!!!!  Mommy loves you!!!  XO

I’M BACK!!!!!

YES!!!  I’m back to work:)  I’ve actually been back to work for a few weeks now, but I’ve been so busy with sessions and of course a new little one that well I just haven’t had the time to post:)  HOWEVER, let me leave you with a recent family pic and of course some pics of my new little one.  Enjoy my new blog and I’ll be back tomorrow with some photos from some recent sessions, summer session special, holiday mini session special…etc.  SO much to talk about:)  XO~
