]]> http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=1207 2 Katie & Co. ~ Ybor City Photographer http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=1187 http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=1187#comments Thu, 15 Jul 2010 18:08:23 +0000 Maria Snider http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=1187 Katie and her family have become good friends of mine over the last….almost 3 years.  Katie is very crafty and talented.  Check her out here when you get a chance:)  Getting to know her and her family has been a blessing.  I LOVE shooting this family.  They never look at me like I’m completely crazy when I ask them to do silly things, including “make your best fish face”  They all just do it like that’s just the way it’s suppose to be, but they have the most fun when doing it.  I love being around them because Chad and Katie’s love for each other is so vibrant and fun that you can’t help but to smile when you are around them.  KC and Collin are some pretty rockin’ kids!  I NEVER have to ask them to do anything for the camera, they just know it and work it!  These were just a FEW of my faves from their session:)  This first one is so cool!  Who couldn’t love this?!  We even got a blow fish in there!!!  I can’t wait to shoot with you guys again soon!!!  XO

]]> http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=1177 0 Happy 4th!! http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=1160 http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=1160#comments Mon, 05 Jul 2010 14:40:54 +0000 Maria Snider http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=1160 Hope everyone had a very happy, fun filled 4th of July!  Despite the rain, we had a great weekend:)  On Friday my wonderful hubby took me on a lunch date to Chili’s.  We took the little Ava Bird with us and Emma Bean stayed with her GiGi.  Saturday was a chill day for us.  Relaxing at home with my favorite people:)  Saturday night I was yet again spoiled by my handsome hubby.  He took me to dinner at the Cinebistro, followed by a movie.  We got to see the new movie Grown Ups.  Okay, so I’m not usually a fan of these “stupid humor” movies, but this one was pretty funny.  Sunday we had a great day of worship and then off to the Dade City fairgrounds for their Sparklebration with some great friends of ours.  We always enjoy hanging with Ashley and Co. and Katie and Co. We weren’t able to take any photos because it was raining most of the time, but there’s always next year!

I’ve got lots of shoots coming up, let’s hope this rain doesn’t stop us! Looking forward to this week and all the wonderful people I will get to be hanging with! XO

]]> http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=998 2 Disney http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=987 http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=987#comments Tue, 23 Feb 2010 21:45:23 +0000 Maria Snider http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=987 While on Christmas break we took a small trip to Disney for the day.  We didn’t tell Emma where we were going and when she saw the powerline Mickey ears she flipped out with excitement:)  A few months back Jason and I got the flip camcorder and can I just tell you that we LOVE it!!!  I’ve made 3 videos with it so far and it is the BOMB!!!!  SO cool!  I sometimes forget to use my camera cause I have this nifty little thing:)  This was one of those times.  lol.  I really don’t like taking my big camera into the theme parks because I have heard way to many horror stories.  However, I did get some shots with my point and shoot:)  Enjoy!!

]]> http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=987 2 Soccer http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=978 http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=978#comments Tue, 23 Feb 2010 16:43:17 +0000 Maria Snider http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=978 Did I mention that I married my best friend???  Jason and I will be married for 7 years this July.  We will be celebrating 7 years of marriage and 15 years of friendship this year.  I met Jason when I was 14 and we became the best of friends.  We started dating in college:)  We both say we would have started dating before then but we knew that when we started dating it would be forever and well we just weren’t ready for forever yet. HA!  Jason has been a great husband and an incredible father.  He coached Emma’s soccer team this year and she LOVED it.  I must admit that I was pretty proud myself.  I mean the man works VERY hard to support us and then to spend the extra time he has to 3-4 year olds is just the sweetest thing:)  Okay I’m done braggin:)  Anyway, this was Emma’s first season in soccer and she will be playing again.  She kicked one goal this season and we are so proud of that one goal!!!!:)  What a sport!  For the past couple months our Saturday mornings were consumed with the soccer and we loved every minute of it.  Can’t wait till next season!!!!

]]> http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=978 1 Christmas http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=975 http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=975#comments Tue, 23 Feb 2010 16:15:07 +0000 Maria Snider http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=975 We had a wonderful holiday season together.  Every year my family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve.  Then on Christmas day we go to my in laws.  By the end of the two days we are completely zoncked (is that a word and if so better check that spelling):)  Emma got everything she wanted:) It was our last Christmas with just the three of us so this one was a little more special then in the past.  It was definitely a reality check for Jason and myself.  I think the pregnancy became real as we realized that next year we will be a family of 4.  It is so hard to imagine another child without picture Emma Bean.  But we are thrilled to say the least:)  Here is a pic of us at my in laws in front of their tree.  Emma had such a wonderful time this year and REALLY got into the whole present opening concept…even if they weren’t her presents;)  Oh and might I add that I LOVE my new Betsy Johnson watch:)

]]> http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=975 1 The Baby… http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=973 http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=973#comments Tue, 23 Feb 2010 16:08:46 +0000 Maria Snider http://www.snidershotsblog.com/?p=973 Is not here yet:)  No I haven’t had her yet.  However, as most of you know I have been have some problems this pregnancy.  They are looking good now though!  YAY!  The previa is gone, my second blood work came back great, and she is looking BIG and healthy.  The doctor does not expect me to go to my due date and I am thankful for that.  If I do go all the way to my due date she will be here in 7 weeks.  Seeing how they aren’t expecting that…um there is no telling.  She was weighing 5 lbs 2 weeks ago so we have another big one on our hands.  I’m not gonna pretend that doesn’t make a little nervous.  Okay well a lot nervous:) lol  However, I know the Lord will take care of baby and me so we will be just fine.

So needless to say with baby stuff, Emma, shoots, weddings and the normal family things going on we have been extremely busy.  So I’m sorry I have slacked on the blog.  Which brings me to why I’m writing today.  To CATCH UP.  I’m going to ignore the fact that my laundry is beyond embarrassing right now and if someone knocked on my door I would probably have to dig a hole and crawl in it.  BUT, my blog will be updated:)  You know it’s bad when your blog says “happy 2009!” lol!!!!  HA!!!!

I also want to take this time to thank everyone of you that refer me.  I get emails daily with upcoming weddings and shoots and new babies and high school seniors all coming from you guys.  Again I can not tell you what that does for me.  You guys are like a second family to me.  Thank you guys!!!!!!!!
